About Us
The Gurung Samaaj of Boston is a non profit community organization that brings together individuals of Gurung ethnicity living in the Greater Boston area. The organization focuses on preserving and promoting Gurung culture, traditions, and values among its members.
We organize various cultural events, festivals, and social gatherings to celebrate and showcase the rich heritage of the Gurung community, along with, educational programs and workshops to pass down the language, folklore, and traditional skills to the younger generation. This helps us to build a platform for the community members to connect, support, and empower each other.
We actively engage in community service initiatives and contribute towards the betterment of society. Through our efforts, the Gurung Samaaj of Boston plays a significant role in fostering a sense of belonging and unity among the Gurung people in the city and the surrounding areas.
